Custom Plastic Extrusion
Plastic Extrusions available from our facilities in the United States or Asia.
Plastic Extrusion is a continuous process that pushes melted thermoplastics through a die. Parts can be simple shapes, or complex, and even hollow core profiles. There is often secondary fixturing to insure the extrusion retains the shape as the thermo-plastic cools. Many parts are extruded and just cut to length.
Our engineers review each part during the initial DFM’s to help insure the integrity and manufacturability of each part, in order to help you get into production as quickly as possible.
It is common to do secondary operations such as :
- Drill & Tap
- Machining
- Gluing & Ultrasonic Welding:
- Wet Paint Coating
- Decorating (hot stamp, pad print, laser engrave)
