Custom Aluminum Extrusion
We can extrude simple to complex Aluminum Profiles. Our engineering team does DFM reviews for each aluminum extrusion file (2-D control drawing and 3-D file). Through this we can achieve the optimum results for each customer. This applies to the actual extrusion process, and secondary procedures. Coatings/Finishes include E-Coating, Anodizing, Plating, Wet Coats, and Powder Coating.
We have capability up to 12-inch diameter.
Aluminum extrusion begins with circular blocks, or billets of aluminum — The billets are melted and forced through a die (extruded)
Advantages of Aluminum extrusion are:
- Relatively inexpensive tooling cost
- Good consistency
- Simpler performance of secondary operations, such as:
- Drilling & Tapping
- Cut to different lengths
- Machining
- Punching
- Stamping/Forging and tapping
- Welding
- Simpler coating/finishing by:
- Sand Blasting
- Brush Finish
- Wet Painting
- Powder Coating (including our clean room powder coating [Video Link Coming Soon…])
- E-Coat
- Chemfilm/allodyne
- Anodizing in Clear and Color
- Electroplating
- Silk-Screening
- Complex, or hollow-cored profile extrusions are available.
- We have up to 12-inch dies in diameter).
- Typically, we use either 6063 or 6061 Aluminum.
- Fast & Accurate Quotes for the extrusions, secondary operations and assembly with other components.
- Low to High Volume Production in our 140,000 sq. ft. assembly facility.
Aluminum extrusions are manufactured in a wide variety of sizes, product types and uses. We make products for medical, consumer products, electronics, aerospace, construction and automotive applications.
We are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Certified.
